Continuous development leads to success

The Keuper Cabinet Making Shop founded in 2005 by Tobias Keuper from Greffen, Germany, is unsurpassed in terms of customer orientation and custom solutions. The cabinet making shop is a state-of-the-art master craftman's shop – anchored in the tradition of the cabinet making craft and clearly focused on current and future demands. For this reason, the cabinet making shop offers its customers state-of-the-art machinery and tools in addition to its extensive knowhow and craftsmanship.

Since 2014 this equipment also includes a vertical EVOLUTION CNC machining center, which opened the way to CNC machining. Due to the limited space available in the old workshop, the vertical CNC machine was the best option, allowing precision CNC machining in the smallest amount of space. Naturally, as the cabinet making shop moved into the larger, newly constructed building in 2015, the EVOLUTION was included and now has its fixed place in the production process.

In 2016 Tobias Keuper invested in another HOLZ-HER machine; this time a STREAMER 1057 edgebander with Glu Jet for invisible joints, which can also be used in moist areas and is an essential module in the cabinet making shop for all furniture and interior finishing work. Since 2016 the shop has also focused increasingly on work preparation in the office to optimize cutting plans and print labels, making the work more efficient and customer oriented.

In 2017, the machinery was supplemented to include a vertical HOLZ-HER SECTOR 1255 panel saw with automatic label printing. This provides support for the present formating circular saw, providing top performance for optimizing cutting plans, and is a central part of today's state-of-the-art production at the Keuper Cabinet Making Shop.

Since 2019 the cabinet making shop also has a large 5-axis PRO-MASTER 7225 CNC machining center from HOLZ-HER, which guarantees higher through-put and above all, allows processing of panels with angled cuts. Clamex is also an important feature for furniture and interior finishing work.

Tobias Keuper is very proud to have mastered this path to state-of-the-art carpentry work within such a short time. The cabinet making shop with 18 employees and currently 4 apprentices now produces its drawings centrally and then transfers the cutting data transparently to the two saws. The milling work is distributed flexibly as required to the two CNC machining centers, consisting of an EVOLUTION 7405 and a PRO-MASTER 7225, while the STREAMER 1057 edgebander with Glu Jet takes care of everything else.
